Last Day of Winter!

It's the last day of winter, so somehow I feel obliged to blog. It's the last day of the month! There's something exciting about a month coming to an end and a new one starting. Maybe it's just me. September is going to be a horrendous month of assignments due and heaps of other things to do, but! There's always the Melbourne conference to look forward to. That's happening in about two week. Never been to Melbourne, so it better be good. Shall have to research on what restaurants to try out in the short time we'll be there... and there's the Tim Burton exhibition too!

From Week 34-36, 2010
Super short post because due to lack of sleep, my performance at uni had been lacking (nothing serious yet! Just been tempted to fall asleep in class ><) and energy at placement lower than usual. This would be considered a Breafast! post, except I forgot to bring my phone with me that day and couldn't blog. Did take a photo though!

From Week 34-36, 2010
Aww... isn't that cute? It's the first time the guy at Penno Corner Cafe made a special picture for me =) His sister who also works there says he only does that when he has time, ie no customers around. Guess I went at a good time =D Really special coffee like this sure brightens up a day.

I'll be getting a new phone soon. Decided it's time for my K750i to retire after about 4 years of service. Hello, Xperia x10 mini pro! =D I'm not too sure if the camera will beat my current phone's camera. I'm fairly certain it doesn't auto focus and it doesn't have flash, but what it does have is geotagging. Hm.

It's spring!!

Is that a windows mobile?

I haven't actually got it yet.I know the larger version, the xperia x10 is a windows mobile, not sure about the mini version.

I must admit, its attraction was the qwerty keyboard that isn't touch screen ><

Touchscreens take some getting used to but you can type decently fast once you've practiced. It's even faster when you start using specialized touchscreen keyboards like Swype...
The great thing about physical keyboards are the feedback from the buttons - we touchscreen keyboard ppl have to listen for the clicky noises from the phone.

That's so annoying if you have to listen for clicky noise =P you'll be annoying everyone else around you. I like the physical keyboards much better =D it can become touchscreen... but why bother with a qwerty keyboard?

Gotta agree with the clicky noises, but when we make the noises we don't notice it :P
It's usually a size issue that ppl prefer touchscreen only devices... It depends how much typing you intend to do with your device.. I only occasionally type with it so it doesn't bother me. Since you've got a qwerty keyboard now I expect to see lots more blog posts :P

you'll be seeing more buzz. Not sure about blogging yet. I still prefer to do my blogging on my trusty pc.
